Trigano may not be the name you need for the quotation
Trigano is a large European leisure-vehicle group with many separate motorhome marques. The name also appears directly on some vehicles and older conversions. Check the badge, conversion plate and V5C before selecting a manufacturer online.
Do not choose a parent company when the vehicle has its own marque
If the motorhome is sold as a Roller Team, Auto-Trail, Chausson or another group brand, insure it under that identity. If the documents genuinely say Trigano, give the full model and base vehicle rather than guessing at a related marque.
Imported vehicles need a clear description
State whether it is left-hand drive and how it was brought into the UK. The VIN, certificate of conformity, registration documents and purchase invoice can resolve a model that does not appear in a British database.
Establish value from the actual vehicle
The group name tells you little about value. Compare the same marque, model, body type, year and condition. For a rare derivative, keep adverts and photographs that support the figure and ask how a total loss would be settled.
Record weight, seats and alterations
Use the current plate for maximum authorised mass and state the number of approved belted travelling seats. Declare later solar equipment, batteries, racks, awnings, tow gear or changes to suspension and engine.
Check how it will be used
Give the real storage location and declare commuting, business use or paid hire. For European trips, check duration, territory and a recovery service that accepts the vehicle’s age and size.
